Yemi Oshinnaiye Appointed Chief Information Officer of US Transport Security Administration
Nigeria’s Yemi Oshinnaiye has been appointed as the new Chief Information Officer of the United States Transport Security Administration (TSA).
Previously a Deputy Chief Informatioin Officer at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Yemi Oshinnaiye was confirmed as TSA’s new permanent CIO.
The newly appointed is expected to assume office in May, 2022. He succeeds Russ Roberts, the outgoing CIO.Yemi Oshinnaiye is an experienced IT Executive with a track record of building high performing teams.
He is an expert in the areas of business strategy, software development, system architecture, system analysis, infrastructure, training and leadership.
Before his new appointment, he worked across various roles at the US Department of Homeland Security including as Deputy Chief Information Officer, Division Chief, Enterprise Infrastructure and Associate Chief among others.
He was also Chief Technology Officer at Dev Technology Group between May 2017 to March 2019 and IT Specialist at USCIS, DHS between January 2012 and February 2014.
Yemi Oshinnaiye completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management, Marketing and Related Support Services.
