Big Brother Naija stars who attended the tribute for the late Rico Swavey have been criticized for a video shared by Dorathy Bachor, which many tagged as distasteful.
BBNaija ex-housemates such as Cross Okonkwo, Elozonam Ogbolu, Alex, Dorathy Bachor, Bam Bam, and others were seen in the said video posted by Dorathy via her Twitter page on Wednesday.
The video saw the stars hold up candles and whisky glasses while singing the lyrics of Jay Z’s 2009 track, “Forever Young”.
Twitter users called out the ex-housemates for sharing the video. Here are some of the reactions seen online:
Patrick Adebowale Fakoya, well known as Rico was involved in a fatal car crash which led him to be placed on life support. Rico died on Thursday, October 13, 2022, two days after the accident.
According to a statement by Doren Hospital, the facility he was rushed at the time of the accident, Rico was “smelling of alcohol” at the time he was brought in.
The reality TV star was 30 years old before his death.
