Five new cases of coronavirus in Lagos, Rivers, and Abuja has been confirmed by the Nigerian center for disease control (NCDC) bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 51
cases.
According to the NCDC, three out of the five cases are returning travelers into Nigeria while the remaining two are contacts of previously confirmed cases.
The breakdown of the number of victims in states include; 32 cases in Lagos; 10 in Abuja; 3 in Ogun, while Ekiti, Oyo, Edo, Bauchi, while Osun and Rivers state have one case each.
