Nigeria’s confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus have now moved up to 81 cases after the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 11 new cases of coronavirus in the country.
Eight of the 11 cases are in Lagos state, two in Enugu state and one in Edo state. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made the announcement via twitter Friday night.
“11 new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 8 in Lagos, 2 in Enugu & 1 in Edo State,” the centre tweeted.“As at 11:55pm 27th March, there are 81 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 3 have been discharged with 1 death.”The announcement brings the number of confirmed cases in the country to 81.

Out of the 81 confirmed cases, Lagos has recorded 52, the federal capital territory (FCT) 14, Ogun three and Oyo three.
Edo, Bauchi and Enugu states have two cases each. Ekiti, Osun and Rivers state have one case each.
