The family of Abimbola Ogbonna, the late wife of Ikenna Darryl Ogbonna, A.K.A IVD – a popular celebrity car dealer, have put out a statement regarding her death and their continuous effort to seek justice.
According to the statement, Abimbola died as a result of injuries sustained from a fire-related assault. According to the family, the injuries were inflicted by the deceased’s husband who they claim has been physically abusing her for years.
Contrary to reports going round, the spokesman for the Lagos State command of the Nigerian Police Ben Hundeyin has disclosed that the suspect, Ogbonna is in police custody and has been transferred to the criminal investigations unit.
