In the heat of finding a personal and work-life balance, maintaining a healthy lifestyle can
sometimes feel overwhelming, expensive, and unrealistic.
It may seem tasking to maintain a full-time job, eat well, exercise, and spend quality time
with family and friends. On this note, we have made living healthy simple with these three
simple tips
Drink Lots Of Water
Start your day with a glass of water. Tea/coffee seems great too, but it is best to start your
day by re-hydrating with a full glass of clean water. Taking a glass of water first thing in the
morning and subsequently during the day aids digestion, enhances clearer skin, and boosts
energy.
Eat Healthily
The key to maintaining a healthy lifestyle is by eating right. Eat a wide range of nutritious
foods to make sure you’re getting a balanced diet and your body is receiving all the nutrients
it needs. Also, eat more veggies and fruits.
Snack Smart
Being overwhelmed with the daily activities makes it so easy to settle on snacks and other
junk foods. If you must, make sure your snack choices are not unhealthy. Try veggies, mixed
nuts, or dark chocolate. These options and many others will keep you refreshed, satisfied and
healthy.
Get Enough Sleep
Sleep is just as important as eating healthily and exercising. From improving your productivity
and concentration to helping support your overall health, getting the right hours of sleep per
night will impact your well-being.
Get Some Fresh Air
Take at least 30 minutes daily to get some fresh air for more vitamin D. You can get fresh air
by exercising or reading a book in the sunshine, taking work meetings outdoor, taking a bike,
walking to work, or opening your windows.
Rest Your Eyes
Your eyes can become easily strained when you are constantly focused on a computer screen.
Take some time off daily, away from your computer screen, smart phones and anything that
attracts artificial light to the eyes. You will be pleased to learn that looking away from your
computer for at least 30 seconds in 30-minute, will help rest your eyes and make them healthy.
Which one are you starting soon?
