The Federal Government of Nigeria has ordered the stop of government officials from traveling overseas following the increased outbreak of coronavirus across the globe.
The decision was taken during the presidential Task Force closed-door meeting in Abuja on tuesday
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation and chairman of the Task Force,Gida Mustapha relayed the information asserting that the ban takes immediate effect. This is coming following the confirmation of the third case of the coronavirus diseases in Lagos State.
The victim, a 30-year-old Nigerian female who returned from the United Kingdom to Nigeria on Friday, 13 March 2020.
