The leadership of the National Union Electricity Employees (NUEE) has suspended the strike embarked upon by the Union, for two weeks.
This was following the conciliation meeting held between the Federal Government and the electricity workers, which ended in Abuja on Wednesday.
At the end of the meeting which lasted for three hours, the workers agreed to suspend the strike which left the country in a state of total blackout.
The workers were optimistic that government will listen to them and priotise their welfare and wellbeing.
