With the success of Nigerian artistes within and out of the country, fuss between fan bases is becoming a norm. From Wizkid FC to the 30BG gang and Burna stans, opinions for supposed faves and against the others seem to have rocked the timeline lately.
However, Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy, does not find this amusing. Don Jazzy has warned supporters of artistes under his label to stop fan wars.
In a tweet late Wednesday, the Mavin Records Boss expressed his dissatisfaction with fans who disrespect other artistes in the music industry to support acts under his label.
He said, “If your only way to support Mavin is by hating on or downplaying a colleague’s hustle and success, then please keep your support to yourself,” he tweeted.

Some stans have responded to this tweet by asking if those spitting trash about their faves should be left alone. Don Jazzy , however, replied some by saying, “Who made you boss? To what end? Your banter is not good for anybody. We make music for y’all to listen to and enjoy. That’s only what makes us happy. Nothing else. Thanks.”
Mavin Records have truly birthed many artistes of international repute such as Ayra Starr, Rema, Ladipoe, Johnny Drille, and recently, Boy Spyce. This artistes have won many accolades within and out of the country and have raised the Nigerian flag proudly in the diaspora.
