Veteran DJ, Keith Grayzon, well known as Kay Slay, has died following medical complications resulting from a 4-month battle with COVID-19.
The Hip-Hop icon was reported dead on 17th April, Easter Sunday.
Earlier, rumors of his passing circulated the internet until popular music artist manager, Wack 100 confirmed the news. Hip-Hop promoter Van Silk also confirmed DJ Kay Slay’s passing.
In January 2022, manager Wack 100 revealed on Instagram that DJ Kay Slay had been on treatment since December 2021, due to COVID-19 and that he had been put on a ventilator.
Recently, Wack 100 also updated the net on Kay Slay’s condition. He wrote that the DJ was “still fighting”.
Sadly, DJ Kay Slay has passed on.
