Former Nigeria Senator, Dino Melaye has protested the presentation of results at the national collation centre in Abuja on Monday.
Melaye, who is the agent of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), insisted that uploaded results must be displayed on the screen by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) before the exercise could continue.
He allegedly said that the uploaded results differ from what collation officers were presenting.
“INEC failed in the transmission of results. When I and other party agents raised the issue, the INEC chairman evaded the comments,” he said.
“The only way for us to see that BVAS has been bypassed is to see uploaded results. We insist the INEC chairman displays uploaded results by state as the results are being presented.”
