Former United States President, Barack Obama has released his summer playlist for 2022. The list featured top acts across the world, including Nigerian Superstars such as, Burna Boy, Tems and Pheelz.
Among the 44-track playlist are Burna Boy’s “Last Last”, Tems’ “Vibe Out” and Pheelz’s featuring BBXN’s Finesse”. The playlist is available on Spotify.
Obama’s playlists are usually diverse genre-wise and this year is no exception. The playlist features highly rated songs from talented artists across the globe including Beyonce’s “Break my soul”, Aretha Franklin’s “Save me”, Wyclef Jean and Lauryn Hill’s “Guantanamera”, Kendrick Lamar’s “Die Hard”, Dijon’s “Many Times” and a host of others.
The former president expressed his excitement at sharing his playlist, and emphasized how music truly bring us all together. He further said that in sharing his playlist, he is able to learn about many new artists.
