Manchester United’s Player of the Month award for March 2020 has been awarded to Portuguese midfielder, Bruno Fernandes, this was made known in a statement released on the club’s official website on Saturday.

The Portuguese international bagged the award ahead of Nigeria’s Odion Ighalo and three others. Even though Ighalo was the club’s highest goal scorer for the month scoring three goals in 4 appearances.
He opened his account for the month of March in their fifth-round FA Cup against Derby, scoring two goals. He followed that up with another goal in United 5-0 rout of LASK in Austria in the last 16 first leg of the Europa League clash, as he recorded another assist. The Shanghai Shenhua loanee has put up a superb performance since his loan move to the English giants in January accruing praises from pundits and fans for his performances.
