The mother of the 22-year-old lady, Miss Oluwabamise Ayanwole, who got missing after boarding a Lagos Bus Rapid Transit vehicle, has demanded justice.
Bamise’s whereabouts had been unknown since she boarded the bus at the Chevron area of Lekki en route to Oshodi on February 25, 2022.
Her corpse was on Monday announced found by the Lagos State Police Command, through the spokesman, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu, who added that it had been deposited at the morgue of the Mainland Hospital, Yaba, for autopsy.
Adekunle assured the family of the deceased that detectives handling the case would not rest on their oars until her killer is found.
“We, therefore, assure the concerned public and the bereaved family that we are closing in on the culprits and we are sure that soon the suspects would be arrested and made to face justice for this murderous act.
