Bankole Wellington popularly known as Banky W is set to run for a seat in the house of representatives.
The singer made this known via his social media pages on Friday, April 1, 2022, where he shared a video.
Banky W will be running for a seat in the lower house this time, under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Banky W will be declaring his intentions on Saturday, April 2, at Eti Osa Local Government Area of Lagos state.
Banky W announced his decision to run for the house of representatives back in November 2018.
The news was largely received by both fans and industry colleagues.
He however lost the elections to Ibrahim Obanikoro of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
