The University of Lagos (Unilag) has replied Rema after he complained about the ASUU strike and how he hasn’t resumed since he gained admission into the university.
Rema, who earlier tweeted: “ASUU, since dem give me admission I neva start school o, e don do nau!” immediately got a response from a popular Nigerian university.
Bowen University, who saw this as an opportunity to promote their institution immediately jumped on this post. They tweeted: “ASUU can’t delay you if you’re enrolled in Bowen University.”
This is so hilarious and it doesn’t stop here.
Fast-rising singer Rema immediately sent a response to UNILAG that another school wants him. He tweeted: “Unilag, private university don dey Toast me o, I’m blushing omg stop it.”
Well, as expected, UNILAG went on to reply: Rema dear, UNILAG has chosen you o, Hmm… so don’t let anybody come dey change your mind o… Rema no dey vex for us o.”
Brilliant Rema however, saw this as an opportunity to call the attention of schools and authorities to the fact that Nigerian youths aren’t happy about the current situation, especially the fact that they have to sit at him following the strike.
UNILAG then wrote back to Rema: “Baby calm down.” This line was drawn from the singer’s single “Calm Down,”off the Rave and Roses album.
We definitely didn’t see this coming
