Presidential aspirants seeking to contest in the 2023 general elections under the All Progressives Congress (APC) will pay N100m for the party’s presidential nomination forms. The nomination form will be sold for N70 million while the expression of interest form will cost N30 million.
Similarly, the nomination and expression of interest form for those seeking to contest for the governorship election under the party, in their respective states will cost N50 million.
This was announced by Felix Morka, APC’s national publicity secretary after the National Executive Council meeting held on Wednesday, April 20.
Some of the hopefuls in the race for the 2023 presidency in the party include current Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, former Governor of Lagos, Bola Tinubu, Ebonyi State Governor David Umahi, Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello, Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, and Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige.
