Some operatives of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) & Amotekun In Ikere Ekiti have intercepted two truck full of Fulani Weapons. According to reports, members of the Oodua People’s Congress and Amotekun Corps stopped the lorry which conveyed some passengers and goods including fodder.
In a video which circulated, the passengers on the lorry were arrested by the security men and were asked to lie on the ground while a search was carried out on the vehicle
Also, a patrol vehicle of Amotekun was seen blocking the lorry to prevent it from escaping.
Some guns were found hidden under the sheet of grass that were brought out by those who carried out the search while residents could be heard shouting and throwing foul languages on the Fulani suspects. More reports also had it that the vehicles were later handed to the police for investigation.
This happened just few days after some gunmen attacked the St Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State.
