Afropop star Adekunle Gold has announced Catch Me If You Can – The Tour.
Produced by Live Nation and Duke Concept, Adekunle Gold’s 19-city tour kicks off on Thursday, 2nd June 2022, at Big Night Live in Boston, MA.
The singer will make stops across the U.S, Denver and more before wrapping up in Edmonton, BC at Union Hall on Friday, 8th of July.
Adekunle Gold, who rocked the airwaves in 2016 with the beautiful record “Sade”off his debut studio album “Gold”, is one of the most exciting pioneers of Afropop genre. The singer is currently dominating airwaves across the globe with his interesting blend of Afrobeat with Pop, and Hip-Hop and R&B influences.
Since rising to the limelight, Adekunle Gold, also popularly called AG Baby, has gone on to release more albums including Gold which debuted at on the Billboard World Albums Chart, About 30 which was shortlisted for the Grammy Best World Album, and AfroPop Vol 1 which gained over 228 million streams.
AG Baby’s latest album, Catch Me If You Can, released in February 2022 includes collaborations with global acts including Davido, Ty Dolla $sign, Fousheé, Stefflon Don, and Fatoumata Diawara. Singles on the album such as “It Is What It Is”, “Sinner” ft Lucky Daye and “High” ft Davido.
