According to circulating court documents, a jury awarded Cardi a hefty amount of coins for Tasha K’s lies about her.
Both Tasha, whose real name is Latasha Kebe, and her company Kebe Studios LLC will have to pay Cardi $1.25 million. Tasha and her company were found liable for defamation, invasion of privacy through false light portrayal and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
