We’ve retrieved the charge sheet that shed lights to some of the charges of alleged Nigerian fraudster Raymond Igbalode popularly known as Hushpuppi who is facing charges in the United States.
Hushpuppi, is currently facing a statutory maximum sentence of 20 years in a US federal prison if found guilty.
This affidavit which was assembled by FBI Special Agent, Andrew John Innocent, a FBI Special Agent made mention of the fact that the suspected Nigerian fraudster and his co-conspirators were accused of stealing over $16m. The affidavit made in support of a criminal complaint and an arrest warrant for Hushpuppi, also captured phone conversations between him and his co-conspirators after each business email compromise (BEC) fraud they allegedly perpetrated.
The alleged fraudsters are also being accused of being involved in a scam attempt to dupe a Premier League Club of £100m. Hushpuppi’s ostentatious lifestyle photos were also captured in the document .
