Islamiyat Yusuf Adebukola wins Bronze at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games

Islamiyat Yusuf Adebukola, a weightlifter in the Nigerian team, has won a Bronze medal at the ongoing Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. Islamiyat has done well to make Nigeria proud by receiving a bronze medal.

The weightlifter competed in the 63/64 kg category on 1st August, at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, where she emerged with a bronze medal adding to the list of medals received by other Nigerians.

This achievement puts the Nigerian team in the ninth position on the overall scoreboard.

The 19-year-old boasts of an outstanding performances in the African youth and Junior weight lifting competitions.
