Brymo – Yellow
Brymo dropped his 5th body of work after months of teasing. The project is laced with 15 tracks , with three sides of English, Pidgin and Yoruba the stunning vocalist doesn’t disappoint as he examines different topics on this album showing his versatility .The album features neo -soul act, Lindsey Abudai on the last track which is the only song with a feature on the album . Brymo definitely reaffirmed why he’s one of the most unique act in the Nigerian music scene with this album.

Following years of hiatus , Black magic recovened into the Music scene with this awesome body of work. The third installment to his “ BlackMagic “ series, black magic brings his distinct vibes to this album. He features rising singer, Tems on Soon” a soothing record that would make your appreciate the songstress more. Black Magic definitely made his mark with the album has he accrued praises from music analysts and fans.
4) Judah the Ep- Mi Abaga
Short black boy, Mi Abaga dropped his 9th body of work, Judas the Ep in March. A project that had left a number of people in heavy anticipation following months of teasing. Although initially billed to drop in January Mi finally decided to let go of the project in March. The project has a composition of adult contemporary rap. Laced with 8 tracks Mi explores topics ranging from loyalty to heartbreak and life drama.The tremendous production on the project is also one of the key positives off the album. Hip Hop heads and writers have dropped positive reviews of the album. It’s definitely worth checking out if you haven’t.
5) Black Frequency -Gbasky
His sophomore project, Gbasky showed why in due time his name might be on everyone’s lips with the body of work. Laced with 8 tracks, this Ep is a very resounding one that echoes love, struggle and resilience. Gbasky really showed there’s more to hope for from him with this album.
6) The Live Report – MI and AQ
Following the release of their individual body of work the rap veterans decided to go much further with their recent bromance by collaborating to release this 6 track Ep. The funny thing is that the call for the joint work was made by a fan on Twitter and in less than a week the duo released this brilliant body of work. From the project we could foresee what was going to come and it was just that. The project was laced with the matters about the current ongoing in the world, from Covid-19 to religious intelligence to addressing issues about the rap industry the duo definitely did justice on this body of work.
